Gundam Wing Box Set I unplayable?

I bought a gundam wing box set and played it at home, but when I got to the 2nd disc I found that every disc besides the first cannot play any of their last 3 episodes correctly. It turns into a choppy and glitched form of it with terrible sound. I then returned and got a new one at a completely different store and had the same problems. Does anyone know how to fix this or where to get one that works?
