How to go about a Masters in Social Work?

My wife is a social worker and she has a BS in social work a masters for her would be about a year and a half because she has a BS in social work. If you do not have a BS in social work you may have to take additional courses even if you have a BS in another field because there are many other courses that are required for the MS program.
