What is the one the thing you regret not doing?

I regret not making it more clear to my mom to wait 1 week to have our dog put down so that he would have had someone familiar there with him, I was stuck 1.5 hours away at college and had to take 2 tests and work that week...my dad dropped him off at the vet and that was it.
