Work on core body exersices. Push ups sit ups mountain climbers leg lifts squat thrusts ect. Anything to get your body in tip top physical shape. If your planning on doing distance work on long runs on your free time. Anything more than 3 miles isn't really necessry. Strengthen those legs and work on endurance. Start to work on your diet too. Eat good big healthy meals ditch the soda and junk foods drink lots of water. Hope this helps
