VisionTek RMA, anyone who might know a little about it...?

Ok, well I sent in my Radeon HD 4870x2 because it was malfunctioning. However, they aren't very good at keeping me up to date on whats goin on with my card. I asked em if they got the card, they said it was in the testing process and that's the last I heard. Then yesterday, I get an e-mail from FedEx saying it was finally sent back. I'm just worried, I don't know if they didn't see the problems I saw with the card and just sent it back thinking the card was fine, this is my worry. Or maybe it was broken and they fixed it, or sent me a replacement, or whatever the hell is goin on. Obviously I hope they saw that it was messed up and the card they are sending back is repaired or replacement, I can only hope. I e-mailed VisionTek earlier, but its up in the air whether or not I'll get a response, they don't seem to be very talkative. The responses I do get back are always like 1 or 2 sentences long. Anyway I'm just worried about it, and am just wondering if anyone else has dealt with RMA's with VisionTek, maybe they could let me know a little more about how they work.
