Is the Pope an Idol? Exodus 20:4?

wisdom and good are attributes of bigots who served as youth nazis, man i must be slipping. i thought hitler was a complete douche, how could one of his servants be miscontrued as wise or good? the historical position of pope is something like an idol though. i didnt really have anything against the last dude( i bet he was persecuted in poland by the current pope, life is funny like that), but just accepting what someone tells you w/o rationalizing it on your own, sounds like idol worship to me, could be wrong, could need sleep and im just firing off angry responses cuz thats how i am when im sleep deprived
